Dinner Parties
and Meetings

Wont You Let Me Take You Home - Eddie Doerr and Lou Lashley - 1912The San Diego Viennese Waltz Club occasionally has social events other than dancing: potlucks, picnics, dining after a dance or class.

A favorite place to meet is the Pomegranate Restaurant. They are rather centrally located, on El Cajon Boulevard at Louisiana Street (one block west of Texas Street), northwest corner. Open evenings for dinner from 5:00 pm. By special dispensation, owners Mark and Jon have a number of times stayed open late so Waltz Club dancers could come by after a ball. — After the latest Viennese Ball, about 35 dancers came to Pomegranate to share the Ball afterglow.

Their menu is exotic, varied, and excellent. For more information: 619 297-4007. Tell 'em the Waltz Club sent you.
